Front End Developer

Terabit.ca is growing and we are looking to hire a talented front-end developer to join our team. Successful candidates will be able to work both in a group environment and independently. They will possess working knowledge of front end technologies such as Bootstrap and jQuery. Since this is a constantly evolving industry successful candidate should also be excited to explore new technologies as needed.

Front-end developers are required to use Photoshop, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and JetBrains IDE as well as other tools in their daily work. They are actively involved in the mock up, implementation and maintenance/modification of web sites.

Job Requirements:

• Must have great working knowledge of Responsive Design, HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript (jQuery) as well as Bootstrap.Ability to produce a coded website from a PSD or mock up image
• Ability to work on a team as well as independently
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work well within fixed deadlines
• Strong customer service, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• 2 years of experience minimum

Assets:

• College degree
• Familiarity with front end CSS frameworks such as Foundation, Milligram etc.
• Familiarity with front end JS frameworks such as jQuery, React, Angular etc.
• Familiarity with CMS systems such as WordPress, Joomla, Drupal
