With new university and college graduates actively seeking jobs, a partnership between Udacity and Google launches at a perfect time. As reported by TechCrunch, Udacity, a website full of online learning tools and classes, has partnered with Google to launch free career development courses.
Udacity posted a blog announcing the courses and stated that connecting students to jobs has always been a part of their mission, henceforth the heavy emphasis on in-demand skill course offerings, such as artificial intelligence and coding. The free courses and partnership with Google doesn’t come as a huge surprise, as Udacity paired with Google for a trial program titled, “Networking for Career Success” that launched in March for 60,000 Grow with Google scholars.
Now available across the world, Udacity and Google are partnering to offer 12 more free courses that provide valuable career advice. Courses include resume and cover letter assistance, LinkedIn tips, interview guidance and much more.
As mentioned, the timing could not be more perfectly calculated. For recent grads searching for employment opportunities, or those between jobs looking to refresh their LinkedIn, Udacity’s new courses are definitely worth checking out!
